The Sangrur district police on November 25 arrested two drug peddlers, identified as Devinder Singh and Hardeep Singh, and seized 1.20 kg of heroin, 10 kg of 'bhukki chura post' (poppy pod powder), INR 4.15 lakh in drug money, a car, and a scooter from their possession near Barri village in Sangrur district.
The Border Security Force (BSF) troops on November 23 recovered a packet containing 570 grams of heroin along with a drone from fields near Daoke village in Amritsar district.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) on November 21 announced one of its largest-ever drug seizures following a yearlong investigation into a criminal organisation, with the operation recovering 36.4 kg of fentanyl, 23 kg each of methamphetamine and MDMA, 20.4 kg of cocaine, firearms, CAD 119,000 in cash, and luxury vehicles in Surrey, Canada. Three unidentified suspects, aged 24 to 47, were taken into custody.

Punjab Police on November 19 uncovered that a constable of Punjab Police was the kingpin in a cross-border drug trafficking case involving the arrest of Akashdeep Singh, Gurbax Singh alias Babbal, and Simranpreet Singh, and the recovery of 450 gm of heroin, a .32 bore revolver, and four live rounds from their possession on November 16, from Khasa in Amritsar district. The Police withheld the constable's identity, stating that details would be revealed after the arrest of the main accused.

Jalandhar rural police on November 17 conducted a cordon and search operation (CASO) and arrested five individuals, identified as Jatinder Kumar, Davinder Kumar, Rohan Kumar, Ninder and Kashmir Kaur, and seized 12 grams of heroin along with 300 Etizolam tablets from their possession, in Ganna village in Phillaur in Jalandhar district.
