On November 30, 1986, a group of individuals believed to be Khalistani terrorists, attacked a public transport vehicle near Khudda in Hoshiarpur District, resulting in the deaths of 22 Hindu passengers and injuring seven others. As per the police report, the attackers, riding on motor-scooters, were armed with pistols and automatic weapons. They forced all the Hindu passengers to disembark from the bus before indiscriminately opening fire, causing tragic consequences.
