The Punjab Police on December 5 conducted a special operation to combat drug trafficking, liquor smuggling, and monitor gangster activity by checking vehicles entering and exiting the state. Directed by the Director General of Police (DGP), Gaurav Yadav, the operation spanned from 8 am to 2 pm and involved checkpoints at 131 entry and exit points across 10 border districts.
