Delhi Police's special cell on September 19 arrested a member of the banned Khalistani terror outfit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), identified as Malak Singh, for painting pro-Khalistani graffiti in Delhi and Haryana, from Kurukshetra district of Haryana. Malak's arrest prevented a larger-scale incident planned for the World Cup final on November 19. He was promised payment in dollars and a United States (US) visa by Khalistani terrorist and the chief of SFJ, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, and had been involved in similar activities since the farmers' agitation in 2020.

A large number of devotees on November 19 performed Ardas at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, praying for the release of Sikh detainees held in various jails after completing their imprisonment, in Anandpur Sahib in the Rupnagar district. Following the prayers, hundreds of youths participated in Amrit Sanchar and became Amritdhari (baptized Sikhs). This event is part of a series of prayer ceremonies held at different Takhats, with the next one scheduled at Takht Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo on December 3. The initiative aims to make Sikh youth Amritdhari and combat drug abuse.

Official data reveals that nearly half of the drug seizures in Haryana involving narcotics and psychotropic substances in commercial quantity occurred in seven districts: Fatehabad, Sirsa, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, and Panchkula, bordering Punjab. They were arrested for allegedly providing weapons and logistics to recently arrested shooters, Manjit alias Guri, and Gurpal Singh. Abhishek provided a hideout to Gurpal, Ankit procured weapon consignments for the gang, and Praveen provided a hideout for Gurpal in a hotel.

An industrialist named Sambhav Jain was kidnapped on November 17 by five individuals, two of whom were identified as Ravi and Mohit, in Laddu Colony, an industrial area at Noorwala village in the Ludhiana district. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of INR 5 crore. During the abduction, Jain attempted to escape, resulting in a bullet injury to his thigh and physical assault. Subsequently, the kidnappers threw him out of the moving car and fled without receiving the ransom. Jain is currently undergoing treatment, and the police are investigating the incident, filing charges against the two identified individuals, Ravi and Mohit, as well as others.

A delegation from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on November 16 met with Governor Banwarilal Purohit in Chandigarh to seek the release of nine Sikh prisoners who have completed their sentences. Led by President Harjinder Singh Dhami, the SGPC submitted a memorandum and 26 lakh proformas collected through a signature campaign to highlight the public demand for the prisoners' release. The delegation also urged the governor to address concerns about potential distortion in the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925, by the Punjab Government. Dhami emphasized that the discrimination against Sikh prisoners constitutes a violation of human rights.

The accused revealed that the drug-smuggling module was orchestrated by Mann Bilawal Singh, a Canada-based smuggler, with the assistance of Pakistani counterparts. Mann Bilawal Singh, the alleged mastermind, is the nephew of Daljit Singh and the son of the former notorious smuggler Punjab Singh.

The case, initially registered in March following a seizure by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, involved the recovery of firearms, including five Austria-made pistols, magazines, and live cartridges. The NIA's investigations revealed links between members of the proscribed Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF), and individuals in Pakistan, leading to the re-registration of the case in August. Both KLF and ISYF have been banned by the Indian government.
